As a photographer, my absolute favourite moments unfold when new clients, discover how effortless and fun being themselves in front of the camera can be.

Many arrive apologizing for perceived awkwardness and expressing a dislike for being photographed. But by the end of our photographic journey together, I often hear, “Wow! This is so much fun. I feel so comfortable around you.” it’s pure joy witnessing this transformation.

What I Love

I’m a creature of the senses and love to romanticize my life (otherwise, what’s the point?!). A bath by candlelight, long walks in nature, watching historical dramas–hello, Lady Chatterley’s lover! In more modern times, I like to go thrifting; touching different fabrics, finding that one-of-a-kind piece that makes my heart sing. I love visiting a restaurant where the menu is different every time or going to a party that’s so good I can’t help but stay up till the sun comes out. Settlers of Catan and Backgammon allow my inner gremlin to come out. And I’m always up for practicing some Japanese bondage or losing myself in a really good book.
